Organization of Workshops and Seminars worldwide in the framework of the INSC

In the framework of the INSC Programme (Instrument for Nuclear Safety), conferences, workshops, seminars and meetings, mainly with representatives of the beneficiary or potential beneficiary countries, are organised in Brussels as well as in the beneficiary countries. For these events, there are costs associated with the logistic organisation of the events as well as costs associated with the invitation of Beneficiary participants (travel and subsistence costs for each invited participant).

The objective of this contract was to cover the costs of organising 2 workshops and 1 seminar in the framework of the INSC to discuss cooperation on issues relating to nuclear safety and safeguards. The Workshops were expected to take place in:

• Addis Ababa: Workshop on nuclear safety cooperation with African countries (45 participants);
• South East Asia: Conference on EU cooperation with third countries in the field of nuclear safety and safeguards (70 participants);
• Brussels: Seminar on cooperation on nuclear safety with Russia

The contract was implemented as specified. The actual list of meetings covered under the contract was communicated to the contractor during the contract implementation.
