Objectives
The project purpose is the elimination of identified training deficiencies by the development of an up-to-date hardware and software complex for operating personnel training in the pilot NPP Training Centre (Khmelnitsky NPP). Dissemination of project results to all the rest NPPs of NNEGC Energoatom is also part of the project purpose.
Implementation of these technical means for plant personnel training will ensure the following:
- Continuous improvement of safety culture and qualification of operating personnel (MCR personnel and field operator from different technical NPP departments);
- Reduction of individual and collective doses to the personnel by changing the way certain training are organised (certain portions of On the Job Training that are currently performed in radiation environment will be carried out in classroom using 3D models of equipments).
