Objectives

The project aim was the review of the available safety upgrading documentation for VVER-440 models 230 and 213 and VVER 1000 models V187, V320 and V338.
The purpose of the documentation analysis was to provide the EC with the sound basis needed for decision making for future work. This review will establish the coherence and completeness of the current programme and also enable other organizations to avoid duplication of work.

A systematic plan for categorization and assessment of documentation was intended to be developed to perform this analysis.
