28/05/2010 - Réunion Steering Group haut niveau - clôture projet EC –IAEA – Ukraine - évaluation de la sûreté nucléaire des centrales ukrainiennes

Background

On 28 May 2010, the EC organised the following meeting in Brussels:

High level Steering Committee meeting for closure of EC–IAEA–Ukraine joint project on the safety evaluation of Ukrainian NPPs.

Representatives from the Ukrainian government and the International Atomic Energy Agency were invited to the meeting, the main objective of which was to ratify the agreement between the parties on the final report and the conclusions of the project. Different DGs of the European Commission were also involved in the meeting.

The joint project had been partly financed from the Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation, and partly by DG ENER.

Objectives

The objective of this small contract was to cover to the costs of organising the meeting, namely the hiring of the venue, with a suitable interpretation booth and headsets for the participants, as well as catering (morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch for 30 participants).
