Objectives

This project aimed at improving instrumentation needed for monitoring of the plant chemistry parameters. The scope of supply included Instrument cabinets; Electric boxes; Piping for sampling and drains; Set of material for piping fitting; Calibration, testing and maintenance tools set, Computer system ; Printer; Network equipment, Network cables; Full software package and licence; Shop acceptance test; Supervision to installation and site acceptance tests; Operation and maintenance training; Licensing assistance, Set of spare parts for installation, fitting and commissioning and warranty period.

Results

A survey on similar previous projects developed in the framework of TACIS and Phare programmes has been performed and the existing system at ANPP has been carefully reviewed in order to finalize the necessary improvements. The first draft of Technical Specification has been prepared by Sogin and sent to ANPP.

A meeting, necessary to complete the Technical Specification was held in April 2000 at ANPP. Some information necessary to complete the Technical Specification has been requested to ANPP. A second draft of the Technical Specification was sent to ANRA on May 2002. Comments by ANRA/Riskaudit have been discussed during the licensing meeting of the 12-13 June onsite and the applicable ones have been included in the revised Technical Specification.

The contract forecast was sent to the EC for publication on EC web site on July 26th, 2002. The final version of Technical Specification and Evaluation Criteria was approved by JRC on Dec. 19th, 2002.

Factory Acceptance Tests were performed on September 2004. On February 2005 the Contracting Authority and the Supplier agreed on a new delivery schedule An addendum for contract regularisation, endorsed by EC on April 14th, 2005, was signed by ANPP (May 25th).Installation of the equipment has been completed (September 2005) and provisional acceptance was issued on the 2nd of September.
